The 2017 Imperial Challenge…the most unique pseudo-triathlon anywhere enters its 25th year!! RIDE your bike 6 miles from the Breckenridge Rec Center to the base of Peak 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. ASCEND on your choice of gear to either the top of the T Bar (Sport Course 2500’) or to the tippy top of Peak 8 (Expert Course 3000’). DESCEND to the base of Peak 8 and the finish! Back for the sixth season Breckenridge is pleased to host the USASA Rocky Mountain region Halfpipe Contest. The Contest will be open to all ages of skiers and snowboarders on our world class 22” Superpipe.

Celebrate Fat Tuesday with the traditional Breckenridge Mardi Gras Parade Down Main Street! Gather along the fenced parade route to see the floats locals have put together and get in position to catch any incoming beads, then wear them out to your favorite bar as your night out on the town gets started.

Benefitting the American Cancer Society – “Hope on the Slopes Ski & Ride for a Cure” is a fun, competitive, family-friendly event. Individuals of all ages and skills are welcome to participate. Individuals and teams of up to 15 participants compete for top fundraising, most vertical feet or continued participation on the hour awards.
